MES boasts a well-equipped workshop featuring a variety of lathes, boring and milling machines as well as a substantial CNC turning and milling capability.

The company has a capacity to handle large machining work with shaft lengths up to 4 metres and can swing 1800 mm in the gap and 1000mmm over the saddle with a Spindle bore of 160mm diameter. The horizontal boring machine measures 1250 x 1250mm. A 1600mm cross traverse table with a five ton Morris overhead crane allows for quick turnaround time on facing and boring work. A dedicated quality control inspection department ensures all work conforms to customer requirements and specification.

The company has a well established CNC division capable of production as well as jobbing work. The CNC machining centres and lathes can machine up to 2 metres between centres.
